Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat. A name that has stimulated my imagination for years. And now I am here! Built 1000 years ago and lost for many hundred more until a French photographer chasing an elusive butterfly stumbled upon the ruins hidden in the thick dense jungle of Cambodia. Parakeets call, frogs rumble, monkeys roam. Vipers and cobras live in there somewhere too! The air drips.
Angkor Wat is a magnificent temple. Dimension, engineering, and decoration are what set this temple apart from others.
